Implemented and edited the design to the collections specifications. I also spent time rediscovering the history of Delilah W. Pierce providing context and relevance as it pertained to the greater social and political movements of her time. I also composed all of the copy. Created a Facebook page including introducing an outreach and social media strategy.

In coordination with Open Table’s president, Peter Hilton, incoming president Jeanine Calabria, the board-of-directors, and the development and communications committee, I implemented an outreach and social media strategy to help bring awareness to the organization and increase its impact on the communities they serve. Our efforts, for example, resulted in 2,700lbs in food donations collected from the Postal Services “Stamp Out Hunger” food drive. Our efforts have also raised awareness in the community and we are now serving more house-holds each week than when we first started our expanded efforts.
